Instead of a list of resolutions, this year I am trying to do the “Word of the Year” thing. I chose the word “Less”. There were several reasons for that. I needed less stress, less stuff, and that would eventually lead to more time and enjoyment with my family and friends.
Apparently this list is a never ending story of things to do. Some of these things are permanent UFOs it seems. I’ll be continuing to try to have less items on this list by the end of the year.

Master Bedroom: Closet – purge
Guest Room/Office: • This project is nearly complete. I need to find the drawer pull for the refinished desk. We need to build the trundle part of the bed, but we do have the top bed done.
Built-in bookshelf in hall
Paint kitchen: • I did get dormer painted when I had leftover ceiling paint from the office. Now I have to decide which color I want in there.
Paint entry hall and install base trim
Main Bathroom: Convert it from Aquarium to Garden theme. This is going to require a new coat of paint, as there are bleach marks from the acne wash all over the walls. That stuff is pretty harsh on the colored towels too.
Entertainment unit for the living room TV/stereo/CDs & DVDs
Finish off the milk room: water plumbed in, some electrical laid out
• Work on the perimeter fencing of our property. Driveway gate in. Part of the front fencing complete.
